“ We ordered the short ribs, bibimpop, chicken katsu, burnt ends. Prices are on average for what is charged for Korean. Lots of parking. Not a ton of seating, kinda squished. Lol large parking. Outside patio is nice, but the chairs are not very comfy. Raised lip, closed arms, means very tiny butt area. Not great for plus sized customers. Decent array of beverage options, but we just got the sodas. Nice atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No extra condiments. No gochugang sauce separate, no soybean paste, no kimchi. The food was all tasty. I will say the lettuce on the bimimbop could have been shredded more it was a bit hard to mix, and the egg was a little overcooked. The short ribs were good, but not falling off the bone. The rice was really good. The burnt ends were amazing. The katsu was super good, crunchy and flavorful. Staff was super friendly and helpful and checked in. Kids review is burnt ends are the best. ”
“ A delightful gem in White Bear Lake. We are so glad we found you. Awesome, yumolucious food. The freshness and the flavor profiles are spot on making us crave more. Thank you for the extra serving of those darn tasty cucumbers. You both are awesome. Support this local little gem . You won't be disappointed. We will be back . Thanks for the great service, food, passion, and great customer service. ”
“ I was so happy to find this restaurant accidentally, thanks to Google and all the people who left 5 stars. Super casual place with a huge smile from Sammy(Young’s wife), and all the explanation about food was very inviting. I had their burnt end and it was DELICIOUS! I grew up in South Korea and love Korean food and this was amazing! I don’t know how they can have any profit selling that dish so inexpensively. I will be definitely going back to try other food. Highly recommend to the people who want to try Korean food in a relaxing place. Lots of parking space too! ”
“ This is a must try for anybody that is looking for quality Korean food. Kalbi Bibimbap is full of flavor and portion is great. beef short rib is seasoned well and delicious. Definitely recommend! ”
“ Spectacular bibimbap and chicken katsu. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is relaxing. We come back here every time we visit St. Paul. Highly recommended! ”
“ Tried Young’s, a newer Korean fusion restaurant in White Bear Lake, and it did not disappoint! Their bibimbap was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully presented. One big plus: I was told their food is MSG-free, which is great for those who prefer “clean” food. The owners are friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Definitely a hidden gem in the area! Highly recommend! ”
“ Friendly, fast, fresh and delicious food. We have been here twice now and the service is consistent. The food is fresh and healthy. What a gem of a restaurant. ”
“ We've been pretty regular customers there since they opened over a year ago. Always a good experience, we haven't had anything we haven't liked, even the tofu, which I'm typically not a fan of. Young and Sammy(owners) are so welcoming and they remember you. If you live in the area definitely need to give them a try. You won't be disappointed. ”
